virgin on the apologetic

Contacted this morning by a young man from Viginmobile. He apologised for the problem, was 'unable to comment' on the call centre being in South Africa and said my complaint had been passed on for further investigation. Offered £10 top up on my phone as a goodwill gesture. I am still rather disgruntled - not at the good will gesture, but at the fact that Virgin sees it necessary to site its call centre out of Britain.

Good to have you back John and I can see why you would be somewhat less than happy with Virgin etc. This Country needs all hands on deck not jumping ship elsewhere but there we are...

Thanks for your good wishes on the MS. If it doesn't catch Russell-Cobb's eye then I'll keep trying. I am confident that this is the one - I look upon my previous three books (100,000+ words each time) as my apprenticeship in this business.

As for the family photo - watch this space! lol.

Talking of keeping things local - just to say John I have slightly amended my "Yum Yum" blog-roll - basically I now have two - one for Devon bloggers and one for the rest of the UK and the world in general - I've added your blog to my Devon list - have a look !
