- The original prefab sprout. Grew up on a north Bristol housing estate - no cars in gardens here - a few aircraft though. Educated at an all boys school - complete with blackboard rubber throwing teachers. Worked with two international companies and a Japanese wholesale bank. Took the opportunity to leave business at the age of 50 to paint and write full time. Just finished latest novel - Imagine you knew the truth about what happened to war dead, but telling the world risked not only your marriage and sanity, but the lives of those close to you. Now mix that with a US plan to invade Iran and you have The Messenger. At 140,000 words it's a thought provoking,political thriller.
